Alappuzha Beach

Located 14 Km from Alleppey, this temple is built in the Kerala style of architecture. The palpayasam (milk dessert) offered to the Gods of this temple are famous around the world.

Pathiramanal Beach

Away from Alleppey at one and half an hour drive, this place serves as a home to several birds. The place has a small port and a beach. Tippu sultan, the king, named this place as ‘Sultan Pattinam’.

Krishnapuram Palace

The palace is built in Kerala style of architecture with corridors, roofs, and windows. It is a protected monument with mural paintings, carvings of pictures and a pond.

Karumadikkuttan Village

Located 12km away from Alleppey. Karumadikkuttan, a black granite figure of the great Buddha is famous in this village


Kuttanad resembles Holland and is known for its contribution to Malayalam literature. The major occupation is farming.
